The foursome that came together and created Killswitch Engage already had strong fan followings. Mike D'Antonio (bass) was formerly the leader and principal songwriter of Overcast, the legendary underground metal group. When Overcast split in 1998, D'Antonio sought for a year to find the right combination of players to fuse hardcore and metal with melody. During the summer of 1999, D'Antonio connected with Adam Dutkiewitz, who was the drummer for Aftershock, and Joel Stroetzel, Aftershock's guitar player. Jesse Leach, vocalist for Corrin and Nothing Stays Gold, joined on, and the foursome took the name Killswitch Engage.

The New York Times has called her, “…a living, breathing bonfire,” and even after 25 years, her flame has yet to go out. Sandra Bernhard has had quite a diversified career as a comedian, singer, actress and author. In 1983, she was cast in her first film, The King of Comedy, directed by Martin Scorsese. Since then, Bernhard has appeared in numerous other films including Inside Monkey Zetterland, Hudson Hawk, and more recently, Dinner Rush. Bernhard is well known for her wide array of television appearances as well. From 1991-1996, she acted as Nancy on Roseanne, and had guest starring roles on Ally McBeal and Will and Grace.

Epica returns with live abum 'The Classical Conspiracy' featuring a 40-piece orchestra and a 30-piece choir

After the latest studio album, "The Divine Conspiracy" (2007), Epica now returns with "The Classical Conspiracy" which boasts a full live set recorded at the International Opera Festival in Miskolc, Hungary. The band was joined here by a 40-piece orchestra and a 30-piece choir for more than 2 hours of Epica songs, movie scores and classical tunes.

Epica is a Dutch symphonic metal band founded by guitarist and vocalist Mark Jansen subsequent to his departure from After Forever. Epica formed in 2002 and first courted Helena Michaelsen (Trail of Tears) as its frontwoman, but shortly after she was replaced by the then unknown mezzo-soprano Simone Simons, Jansen's girlfriend at the time.
